Vietnam getting helicopters and drones from US defense company soon

Reuters exclusively reported that US defense contractors have talked about shipping military equipment, including helicopters and drones, to Vietnam, in a new sign the country may be reducing its reliance on Russian weapons. Lockheed Martin, Boeing, Raytheon, Textron and IM Systems Group met with officials last week on the sidelines of the country’s first major arms show, according to the US-ASEAN Business Council, the industry body that organized the meetings.
