Ex-Shin-Bet boss questioned allegations that he blackmailed Netanyahu in the television interview
The police questioned the former Shin Bet boss Nadav Argaman on Thursday because he effectively blackmailed Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Six days after the Prime Minister had filed a complaint against Argaman because he threatened to reveal unobstructed harmful details about him if Netanyahu violated the law.
The question took several hours. No details were available.
The survey took place on the second day in a row of mass protests against Netanyahu’s plan to suppress the current Shin -Bet -Bet -Bet -Bet -Bet -Bet -Bet -Bet -Bet -Bet -Bet boss Ronen Bar, which Argaman started in 2021.
Argaman stated in an interview on Channel 12 last Thursday that he was sitting on a lot of compromising information about the Prime Minister.
“If the state of Israel or when I come to the conclusion that the Prime Minister has decided that he will act in contradiction to the law, I will have no choice and I will say everything I know and have not said it until today,” said Argaman.

In the interview, Argaman said that Bar should step down because of his failure to prevent the Hamas storm of October 7, 2023, but asked him to prevent, and said that a successor appointed by Netanyahu could endanger the democracy of Israel.

In the midst of an investigation of the alleged relationships between Netanyah’s top helpers and Hamas-Backer-Qatar, Argaman also accused the Prime Minister to ignore his warnings against the flow of catarian money into the decade before the rush.
After the interview, Netanyahu complained to police commissioner Daniel Levy that Argaman had “threatened and blackmailed a seated prime minister with the methods and methods of criminal police officers”.
Levy said on Friday that he had instructed the investigators to review Argaman’s comments. On Sunday, the police decided to conjure up the ex-SHINE-Bet boss as a survey.
Netanyahu wrote after the interview on social media and also accused the bar to carry out a media campaign against him. The bar rejected the accusation and distanced itself from Argaman’s threat.
On Sunday, Netanyahu announced that he would strive for bars to fall and cited distrust in Shin Chief. A state vote on the move was planned for Thursday evening.
The vote was determined by the objections of the Attorney General Gali Baharav-Meara, who warned that the government must receive a recommendation from a consulting committee before rejecting the bar.
Baharav-Miara, who also wants to displace the government, had previously said that the vote has to wait until her office checked the motives for the discharge of bar from bar due to the continuing Shin Bet probe of the Qatar affair.

Netanyahu pushed the latter back and said the decision to displace the bar was made before the Shin -bet started the Qatar soda last month. The prime minister accused Baharav-Miara of opening a politically motivated criminal investigation of the matter as a trick to prevent the fall of bar.

Bar had tried to stay at his work until the remaining 59 hostages were returned, and the government is establishing a state investigation commission – the highest investigative authority of Israel – into the shock attack.
Netanyahu, whose government leads an offer to weaken the judiciary, has rejected a commission that was biased against him because it is appointed by the Supreme Richter and led by a judge in retirement.
