Iran reveals a new, solid ballistic rocket with a range of 1,200 km

Tehran, Iran-Das Iranian Ministry of Defense, presented the country’s recent ballistic rocket on Sunday, State TV reported against the background of the threats of the United States about their nuclear program, since the federal states also negotiate negotiations for a deal to contain the contract.

TV showed the ballistic rocket “Qassem Basi” during an interview with Defense Minister Aziz Nasizadeh. He said there are improvements in both the guideline and the maneuverability in order to overcome defense layers and to avoid anti-ballist defense systems.

The rocket was last tested on April 17th.

The rocket described the television as at least a 745 mile range of 1,200 kilometers. It also means that the rocket can identify and strike a certain goal under several without GPS instructions and with precise accuracy.

In response to a comment from the US defense minister Pete Hegseth on the platform X, in which he warned Iran about his support of the Houthis in Yemen, Nasirzadeh said when the war is initiated by the USA or Israel, Iran will go on strike.

Nasirzadeh added: “We have no hostility to neighboring countries and are looking for fraternal relationships, but in the event of an attack, US bases in the region are regarded as legitimate goals.”

Iran regularly threatens to destroy Israel and to laugh at its cities.

With regard to a recent rocket attack by Jemens Houthis on Israel, Nasirzadeh claimed that the Yemen was an independent nation that makes its own decisions and rejected the US attempts to connect Iran to the conflict there, although the Houthis is strongly supported by Tehran.

Tehran created his ballistic rocket program after having suffered from Iraqi Scud rocket attacks in the Iran-Iraq war-and as a hedge against his west-armed neighbors, since Embargos held it from access to modern attack aircraft.

The announcement of the rockets came after a Houthi strike against Israel on Sunday, which occurred on the site of Ben Gurion Airport. In response to it, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu swore considerable retaliation against both Houthis and against her Iranian supporters. The incident is a significant escalation of regional hostility.

In the meantime, indirect discussions between Iran and the United States were suspended in Rome last week. The Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that the shift was held at the request of the Oman Foreign Minister, who conveyed the negotiations. A new date still has to be announced.

US President Donald Trump has repeatedly threatened to align air raids on the Iran program if a deal is not reached. The Iranian officials are increasingly warning that they could pursue a nuclear weapon, whereby the uranium stock is already enriched on almost weapon -qualified values.
