IDF shoots the Houthi rocket; Sirens that are triggered in the West Bank, the area of the Dead Sea,
A ballistic rocket, which was launched on Friday evening in Israel from Iran in Yemen, was intercepted by air defendants, the Israel defense staff said.
There were no reports of the effects or injuries in the attack that triggered sirens in several settlements in southern West Bank and near the dead sea in southern Israel.
The Houthis took responsibility for the attack and claimed to put on a “sensitive goal” in the Berscha region, dozens of kilometers away from the sirens.
It was the second ballistic rocket that the Houthis had launched in Israel in the past three days after a rocket, according to military officers, had returned to the country’s borders. The IDF identified this start, but no sirens sounded in Israel because the rocket was not a threat.
On Monday, drones of the Israeli Air Force met the Houthi-controlled Hodeida Hall in Yemen in response to the continued attacks of the Iranian group to Israel.

The Houthis – whose slogan “Death for America, Death for Israel demands, demands [and] A curse of the Jews ” – began to attack Israel and maritime traffic in November 2023, a month after the Hamas massacre on October 7th.
The traffic through the Red Sea, a critical waterway for the oil and raw materials of the world, has dropped significantly due to the target of ships associated with the Houthis claim to Israel.
