Disneyland and Disney World are announcing changes to provide value to guests
Disney guests can expect even more bang for their buck at Disneyland and Walt Disney World in the coming months.
Josh D’Amaro, chairman of Disney Parks, Experiences and Products, announced several changes Tuesday to address pain points raised by guests.
“As we step into this bright future, it’s important that we continue to evolve to deliver the best possible guest experience,” D’Amaro said in an email to cast members. “And while this doesn’t address everyone’s feedback, these changes will increase flexibility and enhance our guest experience.”
The changes include previous park-hopping privileges at Disneyland and free self-parking at Disney World hotels.

What’s new at Disneyland Resort?
Disneyland Resort guests will soon be able to participate in some new perks starting February 4th.
Guests with Magic Key Passes or Park Hopper tickets can switch between Disneyland and Disney California Adventure as soon as the clock strikes 11 a.m. — two hours earlier than the current allowable time.
In addition, all ticketed guests can receive complimentary Disney PhotoPass digital downloads of attraction photos through the Disneyland app as part of the resort’s Disney100 celebration of the company’s 100th anniversary.
For those looking to save money on Disneyland visits, the park offers its cheapest tickets for nearly two months year-round, costing $104 for one-day admission.
Last but not least, the coveted Magic Key Pass will become available more frequently as more inventory becomes available. At this time, new annual pass sales have been suspended and only renewals are available for current cardholders.

What’s new at Walt Disney World Resort?
Beginning Tuesday night, guests staying at Disney Resort Hotels at Disney World can save money with free self-parking. Overnight parking used to cost between $15 and $25 per night, depending on the resort.
For the next few months, Disney World guests will be able to download digital photos of attractions like Space Mountain and Test Track for free when they purchase the Disney Genie+ service.
For the coming months, Disney World annual pass holders will still be able to visit the parks after 2 p.m. without reservations. However, there is one exception: weekends at Magic Kingdom. Pass blackout dates still apply.
