Decipher lyrics from Miley Cyrus’ “Endless Summer Vacation” album
“Muddy Feet”
“Muddy Feet,” the ninth song on the album, is already getting fans talking about the explosive lyrics as the song alludes to the betrayal and betrayal of a former lover.
“I don’t know / Who the hell you think you’re messin’ with,” Miley sings. “Get the fuck out of my house with that shit / Get the hell out of my life with that shit.”
However, it’s one particular message that hit fans like a wrecking ball: “And you smell like perfume that I didn’t buy / Now I know why you closed the curtains (Uh-uh) / Get the f– k out of my house.”
“wonder woman”
But relationships and heartbreak aside, Miley’s eighth album also offers glimpses of a journey to self-love. Take her song “Wonder Woman,” for example, which describes someone picking up the pieces all by themselves.
“She’s a wonder woman / She knows what she likes,” she sings. “Never Knowing She’s Broken / Because She’s Always Fine / She’s A Million Moments Old / Has Lived A Thousand Lives.”
Elsewhere, the Black Mirror graduate noted a moment of self-reflection: “When her favorite record is on and she’s dancing in the dark / She can’t keep her eyes from watering, up / She makes sure no one’s around to watch it.” to see her break down / She wants to be the one who never does.”
