Coalition draws all laws based on the mutiny of Haredi parties about conscription bill
The coalition removed all laws from the Kesset agenda on Monday after the ultra-orthodox Shas and Judaism of the United Thora announced that they would boycott the plenary session of the day to protest the lack of a law in order to spend replacement students from military service.
In a statement, the United Thorah party said Judaism: “In view of the fact that the conscription law has not yet been introduced, in contrast to obligations, it will only vote on the coalition if the draft law is presented.”
After the move, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu Likud sent a message to all party legislators that they were “free for today” and promised an update about “the rest of the week”.
Likud Mk Yuli Edelstein, the chairman of the Committee on Foreign Affairs and Defense of Knesset, was generally expected to have a copy of a diluted compromise to the legislators.
The bill was initially ready in mid -June, but it was delayed by the war with Iran. Despite the conflict on June 24, Gemestein has not yet presented the Haredi legislator the full compromise draft, which she passed into a law before the summer legislative meeting was completed.

According to reports, the Shas and UTJ parties insisted on seeing a copy of gemstone soft laws in front of Netanyahus diplomatic journey to the USA – a claim that delayed the departure of the Prime Minister on Sunday by several hours. Gemstone finally met on Sunday with the former Shas Mk Ariel Attias, but what he imagined, he did not meet the Haredi fractions.

When asked about the meeting, a high -ranking UTJ source on Monday of Times of Israel said that Gemstone Attia was presented with “nonsense” and that they were still waiting to see something serious.
Another UTJ source claimed that gemstone had presented general principles, but had not yet shown them a detailed text of the invoice.
According to Haredi Media, the chairman of Shas, Aryeh Deri, told the members of his party in the Knesset on Monday that gemstone tried to change the elements of the compromise, which he reached with the ultra-orthodox fractions weeks ago.
Gemstone laughs at us, Haredi Sources told Kan Radio. “Not only will we not only vote on bills, we will not enter the plenum at all. You have tried to seduce us to promote a law for rabbinic dishes – and we have rejected.”
On Monday, Knesset Agenda was a legislative proposal supported by Haredi, which extended the authority of the rabbinical courts in order to be visible in civilian matters between legal disputes. Legislators should also approve the appointment of UTJ MK Yisrael Eichler.
Assembly voltages
The Shas-Autj decision not to coordinate with the coalition is a return to the controversial intra coalition voltages before the Israel Iran war of the last month, when the Haredi parties threatened to overthrow the government due to delays in the further development of the controversial legislation.

While gemstone had long committed to only allow laws on this matter to adopt his committee if it contained sanctions against ultra -orthodox men that made the entry commands, he seemed to prevent some of his claims in the context of one final efforts to prevent Haredim from voting for a law to dissolve the Knessetet.
After the ultra-orthodox parties had made a fundamental agreement on gemstone compromise limit to reject this crisis on June 12 that “understanding in relation to the principles for the law to preserve the status of the Yeshiva students” was achieved and that “further days” had to complete the final version of legislation.
The following day, however, Israel started a number of air strikes against the Iranian nuclear program, carried out a 12-day war and delayed any discussion about legislation in the Knesset. Both gemstone and deri were informed in advance about the strikes, which contributed to their willingness to compromise.
“Dysfunctional coalition”
After the coalition had accessed all the legal templates from the plenum agenda on Monday, opposition leader Yair Lapid demanded new elections because the government was dysfunctional and lacked popular support.
“The coalition has stopped working. They have no majority among people. They have no majority in the Knesset,” he said.
Lapid spoke to the legislators on Monday before the weekly faction meeting of the Yesh Atid party in the Knesset in Knesset and hit Netanyahu for his efforts to say goodbye to an “alternative law” in order to freed Haredi men from military service.
“Before Netanyahu got on the plane, he was only concerned with one thing: Another attempt to insure the Haredim of a shameful, shameful evasive law that is only designed for one thing: that the coalition survives for a few more weeks or months,” said Lapid.
