Today’s weather (Thursday) will be very hot and dry in most areas of the country. In Gush Dan, Galilee, Jezreel Valley, Hasharon, Juda Essen, Nord -Negev and Arava, particularly heavy to extreme thermal loads are expected. The thermal loads reach from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and then expects it to be weakened for the evening. The heat can be felt especially due to the high temperatures and the relatively high humidity in areas next to the beach.
At the end of the weekend, the heat wave continues to increase. Extremely high temperatures are expected, with very heavy thermal loads across the country. In the city centers and in the area of Jerusalem there can be temperatures of around 40 degrees, and the heat can reach 48 degrees in the Jordan valley and around the Dead Sea and even more. The beach dampens with high humidity and heavy heat. The heat wave is expected to continue until the beginning of the next week.
