Reuters announces that AC Milan is the target of sales talks with Bahrain-based Investcorp

Reuters exclusively reported that Bahrain-based wealth manager Investcorp has entered exclusive talks to buy Series A club AC Milan, in what would be the first takeover of a top-flight Italian team by Middle Eastern investors. A source close to the talks told Reuters that the deal to buy the seven-time European champions from current owner Elliott Management Corporation is nearing completion. A potential valuation for the club would be in the region of €1bn including debt.
