An Israeli strike in Gaza has killed a terrorist who took part in October 7, 2023, said the military on Monday and has announced hundreds of strikes in the Palestinian enclave in the last three days.

The fights in the strip were resumed in mid -March after the collapse of a two -month ceasefire between Israel and Hamas, in which 33 hostages were released.

The army had been wounded in the renewed offensive until Saturday, when the IDF announced that an Israeli soldier was killed and five more, three of them were seriously wounded in a Hamas attack in the north of Gaza.

The murdered soldier was called Warrant Officer G’aleb Sliman Alnasasra, 35, a tracker in the northern brigade of the Gaza Division from Rahat.

According to the Hamas-led Gaza Ministry of Health, around 1,600 deaths have been reported since the end of the ceasefire due to IDF measures, including 43 people who were killed on Friday, according to Reuters.

The Ministry claims that over 50,000 Gazans were killed in the war, although his toll cannot be checked and do not distinguish between civilians and fighters. Israel estimated in January that it had killed around 20,000 fighters in Gaza.

According to reports, the discussions for a new armistice on the demands of Israel were that Hamas 11 was released in exchange for a longer ceasefire, while Hamas offered to publish five.
